how many kicker comps you think it takes to match 2 12"L7's?

yea i suppose so... i know the bx1500D isent all that but even so , i wasent that impressed with them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif , like compared to others peoples stories about L7's being stupid loud and not being able to turn them up all the way cus it hurts ... i dunno mayby a nice 2kw amp will fix my problem

the comps aren't gonna hit as low as the l7's...id stick with the l7's and build a custom box tuned at about 32 hz or so and get a bigger amp. Those l7's can handle prolly about 2000 watts. Whats the ohms on the subs? Get the Hifonics Brutus 2006D
