Hey all. Am new to this forum but i have been reading through lots of post and you guys answer questions quickly and directly unlike some of the other forums that i have visited, and thats always a plus. Anyways I was wanting to try either a SX or a DR sub in my application in a 2000 Dodge Dakota EXt. Cab. Am wanting to run 2 12" of either subs ported and powered by an AQ2200 amp. What am looking for is a sub that will get way LOW with authority like the Fi Q or better but still be able to hit the high notes when called upon. I currently have 2 15" Fi Q's sealed and they get pretty low, but lack the high end authority. Can anyone help? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Thank you for your input in advance.

i would only pick up an older SX if even thinking about buying RE. I have heard a lot of good things about the DR though and have seen a lot of people run them in walls and stuff. im sure if you build a good low ported box and run both on that 2200d, either sub would perform to your liking. I personally would choose the DR because im diggin the IA stuff lately.

i have used the old re subs & ia both. i personally like the ia product. i have always done very good #s with ia and the customer service is outstanding. (the old re and ia are very comparable. i have not used the newer re since they started making them overseas. i prefer to use the usa product over the china made. i know the soft parts are made overseas but the ia subs are assembled in alabama not china.)

I would keep the Q's but i cant use them to there full potenial. I have them in a sealed enclosure right now and i would rather go with 2 12's ported instead. I do like how they sound sealed but if i had the space id rather them ported.

Am wanting 2 12" because the 15's needs to much space to be ported in the back of an ext. cab dakota. Like i said i would keep them if i had the space!
