RE Audio question

I'm considering getting a pair of RE SEX12s, and I was just wondering how good these subs are in comparison to a pair of Punch P3s.

The only reason I'm asking is because I have P1s in my car now and I'm wanting to upgrade, but I didn't know if I should just stick to RF or if I should consider moving to another brand, specifically RE Audio.

haha, while I've got your attention, is kenwood a good brand of amps?

They have the only amp I could find for around 400 dollars that would push 1200watts at 2 ohms

honestly id never touch a kenwood amp unless it was free or it was some unheard of top of the line thing which ive never seen from them. 1200 watts at 2 ohms? hmm that might be tough to find on an amp without overpaying for one that does 2400 @ 1 just to run it at half power. id say best bet is find 2 cheap 600-750 watt amps and run each at 1 ohm to each sub.

I just realized I can wire 2 DVC 4ohm subs to a 1ohm load on an amp, and believe it or not, RE Audio has an amp that puts out 1200w @ 1ohm meaning giving the ***'s 600w a piece, which is their exact RMS rating.

and it's cheaper than the kenwood. (scoooooore)

I'd just have to redo my wiring from 4 gauge wiring to 0 gauge D:
