Choices for 10" SQL subwoofers

Whats up? I have been away from this forum for many years but decided today to check it out again.

I have been scoping out all my options looking for a SQL 10" subwoofer for my 1990 eclipse show/race car.

Figured I could use some help from the knowledgable people on the board who are still up to date on underground audio companys etc.

The whole setup is complete for sound quality but missing the sub, only running a junk kenwood I got for free in there.

( anything is better then no bass for now & I had it kicking around here )

The amp I got in there is good for 600rms @ 2 ohms.

I am looking for somthing high in sound quality but also somthing that will give decent kick for a 10. By the way, its only a hatch back.

I have been out of the online game for a while audio wise so im wondering what are some good options for 10" subwoofers for this application.

I also posted in the WTB section if anyone has anything for sale, feel free to post it in there.

Any input is apprecated, Thanks.

IA Flatlyne if you are looking to have a truly flat curve.

SSA Dcon can also be very flat, gets rather loud for it's class. Budget friendly, rated 300rms, 400rms makes it shine, IMO. Also, pretty lightweight if you are trying to keep the car race-ready.

Just two quick ideas.

I would be all over that OEM to & have the cash but no bids outside of us. I am in canada. TO BAD!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for but they are RARE now.

I was looking into type x as well, would be a good match for my car since its an import that has alot of other carbon fiber on it. Color scheme anyway would be a nice fit.

Also have been looking into the SSA, FI & image dynamics subs last few days but still havent made the perfect choice yet.

Thanks for all the input guys, I would appreciate hearing anything else anyone has to say or subs you are willing to sell me hehe.

idmax brand new $ is retardedi would take an ssa icon for ported, and fi q for sealed
yep. But, ID's customer service is out of this world. Ray Charles could recone the Idmax, they are super efficient, they are one of the most versatile subwoofers out there as far as enclosures go, get loud and sound amazing.... that's why i said if you have the cash.... DO IT!

I hear ya, I found a 10" SSA icon older model but bnib for sale in canada but the guys message box is full lol. Hopefully I can get ahold of him soon because for 175 plus shipping it looks like a great deal. I havent really had an easy time finding any fi qs for sale used but I do plan on going ported for sure.
