RD Audio 3250 or IA 40.1 or Sundown SAZ 3000D?

Which one would you rather have and why. My current plan is to push a single 18" f/l BTL in 8 cubes @ 30 Hz. I'm leaning toward the IA but I've been told I won't get rated power @ 1 ohm with music. Impedence rise I guess. I'm also curious what everyone thinks about going with the BTL. Someone mentioned using two RD Alpha 15s instead of the BTL. What do ya'll think about that? I have about 8 net cubes to work with and I intend to use around 3 - 4 thousand watts

I believe determining factor would go down to price and customer service, i dont know about price, but i do know that the CS from Sundown is unmatched in the business.
actually all three are stand up companies, I really think it ends up being which amp just looks cooler than the others to the buyer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

You will get more than rated power for sure with the IA40.1 as they are under rated! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Unlike popular belief 20.1's and 40.1's will do AT LEAST rated power at 1, 2 or 4 ohms loads, just because they will run at low ohm loads doesn't mean they are made or recommended for that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks,

Yes, I just believe Sundown's warranty policies are much more lenient than others.

well, I dunno...im a firm believer if people do dumb shit to amps, they should get what they deserve....(IE: .5 & .25 ohm loads for daily isnt so bright)

But all three amps are so similar in design characteristics, I dont think you could go wrong on any choice of them. Like I said, more to personal preference than actual performance as a basis of purchase.

I wouldn't mind a IA 40.1. Lots of satisfied competitors with those. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

id go with whichever of the 3 you get the better price on honestly. I'm looking at sundown for a build at the moment but if i was able to get the power needed without sacrificing the reliability at a lower price id look at somethign else.

Well I like what I have heard. I think given what I have already learned about the IA I will go with it. Thanks for the opinions. Does anyone have anything to say about the subs. Many people say they like the Alphas but i don't know anything about them. The Fi just seems like a more rock solid driver. And nothign against RD but havign the word REVOLUTION written on the dust cap seems so Wal Mart to me.
