Hi! my friend wants me to build a system for his 06 Tiburon. were not sure about which way to go; 12's or 15's, 1 or 2, amp, everything. he wants it loud. hes looking to spend about $1000.

IMO I would go with (2) 12s pushing 1000w to each sub. His system would be real loud. I'm sure you can find (2) 1000w rms subs, 1 or 2 amps, and a custom box for under $1000.

Is that the magic formula? A pair of twelves and 2kW?

Is there no other possible way to get loud with a grand?

It can't happen with some 10s?

One twelve? One fifteen? One eighteen???

Hmm...there ya go.....four SoundSplinter RL-i eights on 1kW split between the four.

That could get loud as fawk in a Tibby and sound bloody fantastic to boot.
