RCAs whats good?

LOL
Eclipse deck have non clipping preouts. They don't clip, even at full volume.

Try this, go get a cd, not an mp3. But a store bought cd. Grab your DMM, turn it on AC. play it @ MAX volume. Read what the voltage is coming out of your preouts;) Then do it with a 1kHz 0dB test tone. See the difference.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

well i have a merlin md2 and an orion 500.4, can they handle that?
earlier i said that symbilink is a zapco thing. i dont think anyone else is using anything similar, i may be wrong though. the only amps i know of that were designed for it are zapcos.

I don't have overly expensive RCAs....but I don't have el-cheapo Radio Shack cables either. Once I used to have some cheapy no-name interconnnects in an '87 Crown Victoria I owned. For the longest time I fought inducted noise - grounded, regrounded, and regrounded again every piece of gear in my setup and nothing worked.

I went to some decent RCAs and the noise went away immediately and never returned.

B/c I'm lazy and the ole short-term memory isn't what it used to be anymore I went with three different types of cables to keep it easier to remember which was which after they get run from behind the dash at the back of the HU to inside the trunk where my amps are. I have one set of Stinger, one set of RF, and one set of StreetWires RCAs. I eBayed all of them and for less than $65/shipped for three sets of decent RCAs all in 20ft lengths (I like to make sure there is enough.....better to have and not need rather than the other way 'round) I reckon they're worth their weight in gold to have rid me of the annoying alternator whine I once had.

I've used expensive and cheapo and never could tell the difference. Basically the shielding is the only main thing? Cheapo wires will be prone to noise more if they are around stuff that will cause noise. ? . ? . ?

ok, well im givin knukonceptz a try. i just bought a pair of there 6M krystal kable. and a 4 ch set of the same. it cost me friggin $58, but its knukonceptz top of the line interconnects. i hope theyre good.
