My cousin had a punch 18 a while back and it "hit" pretty hard but at the same time not to impressive.

I would say so...My bet would be the lower 140's but who knows? Whats your box going to be tuned to?

i had a fosgate 18 it was in a 4 cu ft. sealed enclosure and it was ok...but when i got my power1000.1bd my 18 couldnt take it...it would bottom out...but for spl it wasnt too shabby but in a ported enclosure it should pound...

why dont you go wit one of the newer rf 18's

i heard some good reviews about them

(this is the sub made to scare little kids and old people)

but sound q is terrable but if you are all out spl go for it

get 4 punch hx2 18's, put them in a 30^3ft box tuned to 40hz with a bd1500 on each
