Range Rover iPod Aux input help..........

hi,

i have a 07' rover and when connecting my iPod to the Aux input the sound quality seems much poorer than cd quality. I am wondering if there is anything i can do or add to my system that will give me stereo cd quality with my ipod and perhaps some integration with the nav if possible....Thanks for your help!!
