any questions or comments on the install or box build are welcome!

Oh and for the record about the box, there are tons of glue drips but im going to carpet the amp rack and box anyways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thought this was a Sundown 3000? Looks good regardless. Clean the wires up and I would glass the inside of the box, but that is just me. Should have double baffled also, something to think about for the future. Other than that looks good!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well actually I decided I didnt need that much power so I traded the 3000d for two 1500d's and sold one to a friend. The wires in that pic was from earlier in the day so its going to be neater.

For the box, I was thinking about double baffling but the bracing I put into the box makes it pretty darn sturdy. I have another baffle I can put on if the box flexxes a ton but I doubt it will.

Annd i dont know how to do fiberglass lol I have heard about people just brushing resin onto the wood though, is that what your talking about?

You buy fiberglass resin and fiberglass mat. Mix the parts together, (the fiberglass resin will have an activator with it and will tell you what amounts of each to use). Dip the fiberglass mat in the resin, make sure it is good an saturated, and you are ready to go. I use the fiberglass resin and mat for the corners of the box to make it more sturdy. And all you need is to actually use the resin on the rest of the inside of the box. It is simple, but a word of warning. Once you mix the resin and activator, you have about 10 to 15 minutes before it is so hard you can not even apply it.

nice lookin build
how much SS damp did you buy? im curious.
I had about 10 sq feet then I bought 20sq feet, and then 20 more sq feet and I might have bought another 20sq feet but im not sure lol

I still have 5-6 sheets that im saving for places that rattle badly

yeahi agree with the glassing.
build looks awesome and a thumbs up to the AA havoc and Sundown goodness.
Thanks!

Good to see another RR on this site!
