Randy Moss - put on waivers by the Vikings

True, but would paying him starter salary to sit on the bench would be a good management decision?
I would call it a coaching salary. Paying him that salary to be on the bench will be the salary that could possibly transform T.Jacks into the next Steve Young, Dan Marino, John Elway and the like.

Boston Celtics, Lakers, and Bulls, are more memorable than any individual player in the NBA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
With teams you have the great rivalries, and great games and classic moments. Sure you mention players along with it but the most important things are the teams imo.
We picked up Moss? Are you from TN?

I honestly think Moss wont be too amazing anywhere anymore. Teams know he is deadly. I would look at the #2 reciever behind Moss and say they will be deadly. Moss on the titans will make Britt look like Jerry rice. Moss on any team will **** the defense to him and make other players stand out. Either way Moss is a 100% great investment in a team.

I agree, I just hope he doesn't cause too much trouble.

Not from there but Tennessee has been my favorite team. IMO they're one of the best franchises in all of sports. Not even with winning, just by how they operate and the decisions they make. They've made some of the best draft picks of any team in the past few seasons, and Jeff Fisher is arguably the best head coach in the NFL imo.

Tennessee doesn't seem to really tolerate all the drama like some other teams. They seem to pretty much put a stop to nonsense right away.

Then maybe when they sit him on the bench, they should pay him double his current salary, to speed up TJ's meteoric rise even faster.

So, you're saying T. Jack didn't throw a TD pass on his very first attempt sunday? If so, you're wrong. I'm pretty sure they converted on a 2 pt try right afterward too.
And you're dead wrong about the whole "spotlight" thing. Farvuh LOVES being the center of attention. Anyone willing to turn a blind eye to that at this point is either stupid or they don't follow much NFL football. Brent Farv is the ultimate drama queen. He loves nothing more than being the center of attention, and his little routine has grown tiresome. Very few people actually give a **** about it these days. It'd be for the best, for Farvuh as well as the Vikings organization, if he'd call it a day and go home...

I'm fully aware that T. Jack was the Queens starting QB prior to acquiring Favre. He was hit & miss during that time, but at this point he's a better option than Brent.
And all of that was In your opinion, lol!

I watch plenty of football, like it was my religion and know how much Bret is in the lime light, but come on..........the media creates 95% of this ish...they have a job and he is a big name star and they need to put food on the table. I dont know how people always say it is the player, when in fact it is the media more so stirring the pot. They will do just about anything to get a story, even if it is making said player out to be a complete *******! They dont care about you or yours, well most dont anyway....

I wonder how many people where saying how Favre ****** last year when he had one of his best years as a QB, lol! How the tides have turned in 1 year and from what 40 to 41, lol!

I still say, if he had a deep target like he did in the talents of Sidney Rice, he would he having a better year. Plus his offense gave much better protection last year. Anddddddd, a lot of his INT's this year where not always his fault. Passes being tipped, WR's running wrong routes, ect, ect.....but, he is and always will go down as throwing the most TD's and most INT's.....hell of a stat IMO, haha....

Also remember, he is 40 plus....I give it to anyone who is that old at that position doing what he does in and out every week. Guy is amazing. I really dont get the hate on the dood, as he is a great QB......and I have never been GB or Viking fan.

Not at you Misfit, but I lol at LR stating people remember more about teams than they do players. IMO players make a team, last I checked.....

Brett was a great QB. You have to know when to stop. Have you not seen the dudes ankle? You want him to keep playing until he can't walk anymore? His list of injuries is crazy. If he was still performing at the level he did last season I would have no problem but he's not, at all. If you think he doesn't like the spotlight you're crazy. It's the job of the media to report what's going on. If he wasn't doing anything they would have nothing to report on him. He's completely tarnishing his reputation and hurting his legacy by refusing to take a seat.

Negative, I whole heartly believe it is the media blowing it up, like they do with most their stories.

Opinions differ, that is all... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is a common misconception. The media CHOOSES what to report on. Sure, some stories are impossible to not report on, wars, presidential elections, etc. But sport's figures? Plenty of them get busted every week for something heinous. Its the Michael Vicks, Brett Favres and Pete Roses that the media covers until we are sick to death of the story, while the third string running back beating up a ********** or the pitcher in the minor leagues getting busted with coke might maybe maybe get a 5 second blurb once on the news. Why? Because the media CHOOSES high profile players to increase their own ratings. Make no mistake, the mainstream media is a business, not some unbiased non-profit public service organization.

If some third string kicker for the Bills got caught texting pics of his pecker to a cheerleader, we wouldn't have probably ever even heard about it.

I was talking about sports news, not national, or world news.
