Some rumor it’s a backup DC/Capitol that’s on the other side of the Mississippi. Colorado has tons of military and arms manufacturers there with very large underground facilities in the mountains. Protects against nuclear strikes and the deeper you go helps protect against being scanned by certain types of EM radars/signals for 3d mapping.

I looked it up. I don't think I knew about it previously.
The Denver Airport painting seems stranger to me.

Did a little more research and apparently I'm not alone thinking the mural was messed up. It and a few others were removed from the airport.
