Just spent a good long while on my CIVIVI Elementum with S35VN blade steel. I re-profiled the blade edge geometry then mirror polished it. Initial angle is 15° starting from 80grit diamond all the way up to 10Kgrit. Then I started at 400grit diamond and set the angle to 20° and again went all the way to 10Kgrit. Keeps it thin and slicey but strong.
