Ram Van Infinity Speaker Help

I have a '95 Ram Van, B2500, Mark III conversion. It is equipped with a Chrysler Infinity Audio System.

The front door speakers are 6x9 and have an integrated amp with a 4-pin female plug. Chrysler part number 56010000. The driver's side speaker is kaput. The Chrysler dealer tells me that speaker has been designated as "obsolete" by Chrysler so I am SOUL with them as a solution.

Repeated searches online, salvage yards and on eBay have been fruitless so far. I know there HAS to be an alternative other than installing a whole new system in this vehicle which I do not plan to keep more than 6-8 months.

Any suggestions?

Well, from what I understand the littel amp on each speaker cranks out about 20RMS.

I assume the radio/cassette player puts out some amps, and then the amp on teh speakers ramp it up. I suppose I would have to pull the stock speakers, install an amp, and then run it to a set of new speakers?
