me and my cousin both have ran skar . we both love the brand. i went sundown because i heard good stuff about them but honestly, it’s about the same as skar... skar is just cheaper... what brand and model would you run?

American Bass HD 8 looks promising. Soundqubed makes a fairly priced 2.5" coil 8". Dayton Ultimax 8" is on sale at the moment though only 300W power handling. If you were only planning a 1200W amp that might be a really good option either.

Like I said, I figure Skar is about the same stuff that AB or soundqubed or a bunch of others sell but the general consensus seems to be the owner of the company is a shady douchebag.

Okay. I want to wire all 4 to a mono amp to a 1 ohm load preferably but will do 2 ohms. What impedance on the subs should i get? they will be dvc for sure

Dual 2 ohm or single 4 ohm will get you to 1 ohm final load for 4 subs.

Thank you! I’ll probably run with the soundqubed. My other cousin had 4 15s in his tahoe and i loved how they sounded. of course, i won’t get that much bump, but they’ll still be pretty nice. hopefully ill
be able to beat down the block
