Radio static

Noticed recently that whenever i have my radio on it seems to give out very little static at times. It's not so bad that I have to change the station but is very noticable and annoying. This didn't happen before i got my system installed btw. Any ideas or suggestions?

If your have a pair of amps then try making a common ground for both the amps and the Head unit. that should do.

I didn't change the headunit, it came stock with some old model Alpine HU when i got the car used. I only have one amp (JBL600.1) with a 12" Alpine Type R, couple days after my cousin installed it i noticed this annoying-ass static. Hmmmmmm You can also try using a chocke on the power cable of the head unit. Pioneer used to supply them standered with thier previous *Keh8 series try looking for it that can solve your problem. or try makin a common ground for ur head unit n the amp . best Of LucK
