Slaves actually existed in Africa before we even went over there...when tribes would invade other tribes, they'd take them over and make them slaves...the Spaniards went to Africa and traded some goods for slaves and brought them back to their colonies in America...

well on teh sterotypes tehre r alot of movies makin fun of blacks, they jus never mkae it to theater.(but trust me that r ALOT) and on the black folk getting jobs and into school and all that, i dont eblive in teh school thing but jus because they dont seem racist doenst mean tehy arent, they c a black person thinkin that he wont equal to b as good as a white person in teh same situation. ive heard this so dont tell me im wrong. and on jobs ive never been hiried over a white person in my life. but either beign racist is ****in stupid. i ahte eveyron eqaully *****s

Definitely right on that. But it goes both ways, too.

One of the main things that gets me is the claim of "racial discrimination" so often. Two recent examples:

When the NBA wanted to put an age limit on entering the league, Jermaine O Neal said it was racial discrimination, since most of the NBA is black.

Wesley Snipes sued the production company of Blade Trinity, because he was supposed to have creative control over large parts of the movie. He claimed he wasnt given control because hes black. Of course, this lawsuit was filed AFTER he got paid millions to do the film.

Just seems like racial discrimination is used too often as an excuse.

Also, about the movies not making it to theatres, think that might be because of the double standard, in which white people are comedic material, but black people are off limits?

Im not rasicist... but I have had a great deal of problems with one specific race.. that sorta made me dislike them alittle... and changed my views alittle and I know its wrong but after 7 of the same things happening with the same race.. idk...

But what I dont get is.... everyones saying "White chicks" is ok because it didnt bother anyone.... well wait... isnt it bothering us right now... so isnt that making it so we feel like its racism?

So if there was "Black chicks" I bet it would have the same EXACT affect white chicks did... but thats my opinion.

I personally think everyone is rasicist to everyone... meaning whites are rasicst against black.. spainish.. cuban...mexican... and so on... and blacks are with whites spainish cuban and mexican.... spanish with whites black cubans and mexicans... and you know the rest... everyone does NOT like everyone... but ITS NOT limited to just whites not likeing others and not anyone of the other races not likeing the others... its just as equal in my eyes

a guy walks into a bar, orders a shot of whiskey and a glass of beer. he pounds the whiskey and chugs the beer. he turns to the bartender and says "whos the toughest mother f'er in here"...the bartender looks around and says "its gotta be that farmer over there, he can lift 600 pounds"...the guy walks over to the farmer beats his a s s and walks out. the next day the guy comes in again, orders a glass of beer and a shot of whiskey...chugs the whiskey, pounds the beer and asks the bartender "who's the toughest mother f'er in here"...bartender looks around and says..."it would have to be that chinese guy over there, hell kill you 6 times before you hit the ground"...guy walks over kicks his a s s and walks out"...so the bartender has this friend that works at the zoo who stopped in for a drink, and they get to talking...bartender says he has this customer who comes in and is beating up all of his other customers...so the guy that works for the zoo says he has this huige gorilla who would definitely kill the guy....so they set up a plan to put the gorilla in the bathroom and when he asks who the toughest guy in there is the bartender will tell him he is in the bathroom...so they get it all set up and the guy walks in...he orders a shot of whiskey and a glass of beer...chugs the whiskey and pounds the beer...asks the bartender "who's the toughest mother f'er in here"?..bartender looks around and says "i dont see him right now i think he is in the bathroom" so the guy walks into the bathroom...the bartender goes to the door and hears all this wrestling and banging...about 5 minutes later the guy walks out and says "you tell that n.igger when he wakes up i threw his furcoat outside"...haha.....now im not racist(just to get that clear) but that sh*t is funny!!!!!!

On the subject of the thread...I don't hate anyone based strictly on their race. I may not like the Turks and the Azeris, but my beef is with their governments, not strictly the people...if they don't have a problem with me. I discriminate based on stupidity - if you prove to me you're not worthy of my respect, I don't care if you're green. all this talk about racism i believe the main problem is with kids being taught racism, i grew up in the suburbs of new orleans and all through school they're was only 1 other white person and me and him became best friends. To this day my brother and i are good friends but thats besides the point, what im trying to say is i was raised that all people are equal and you don't see the color of the person but instead you see the person themselves. It wasn't until about 5th grade that i even knew they had a such thing as racism. You would think that since i was white at a prodominatly black school that i would have been discriminated against. But honestly i wasn't. i had lots of black friends all through school and still do to this day. Although i wouldn't consider myself a racist person i do belive black people are discriminated against some what. I say this since most of the people in prison are black. i think the ratio is something like 30:1 although im not positive. I think black people are also stupid for talking about slavery and wanting reperations for something some other people did in the past. Yeah its true we did have slaves in the states but i was taught in school that slaves were inslaved by their own people... so how can they be upset with americans who bought them from their own people as slaves.
