Quick voltage question

this would be normal on high system output without a battery

try using BIG3

it would probably improve things

Get a battery with a bigger reserve capacity.

Big three fixed my dimming.

A battery or two charging doesn't cause that much of a load on an alternator. Do you have an electric motor fan or is the AC compressor kicking on when the voltage drops? You may have high resistance between your postive/negative under the hood or at your amp. I'd do the big three as well.
