Old factory battery is now dead and will not charge I was wondering can I run a Kinetik 1400 as my front battery with no problems. A friend will sell me it for 120 and its cheaper than the Optima which is 200

that is the minimum that kinetik reccomends for a front batt. so yes it will be fine

Thanks, Im looking to add a 2400 watt system in the future if i just add another 1200 kinetik my system would be fine Ive done the big 3 and my alt is 120 amp

Id put like a 2000 or a 2400 back there. You can never have too much power.
