No. Bass is non-directional.

I'd put the sub on the drivers side and the port on the passengers side.

the box looks like that it goes clear across the cab... its about 6.5 high and about 20" wide but the centter is humped up in the middle to go around the transmitionbut each side is conected to each other so it would prob be to much air space wat could i do to take up some space?

Holy $hit! Clean your truck!

I stand by the ID8. You may have to get creative when designing the box, but it will be worth it. You can fill space by adding blocks of wood inside the enclosure to reduce it to the neccessary volume.
