this question is so vague. first at what ohm load do you need 800 watts? what is your budget? what do you mean buy remote? remote gain? remote bass knob? you don't need a remote bass or gain knob as they do nothing but harm. we need more info to suggest amps

I need it to be 800 wats rms when briged(some thing around there). I basically need it to be around 400x2 at 2ohms...........Whats the problem with remote bass nobs and remote gains?

I think Iceteebone was just saying that alot of people that use the gain/bass knobs view them as purely a volume knob, and don't take into account that if turned up to much can send a clipped signal to the sub or speakers, which can ruin them.

However, I find myself using my bass know quite a bit to level out whatever music I am listening to...as most music (especially different radio stations) is recorded at different levels, some with more emphasis on bass, and some with less.

You still need to give a budget though. There are proabably hundreds of amps out there that will do that power. Help us help you.

Well since this thread didnt pan out 2 well..........I just wanna know what amp would be best for 2 Infinity 12.1D's

you could get an infinity 1211a and the bass knob that goes with it if you wanted to stick with infinity, it would do over 600rms at 4 ohms, over 1200 at 2 ohms.

Thanx but for some reason i dont really like infinity's amps.........Im now tryin 2 figure out if im gonna use somethin like a 1000 watt mono amp and just hook it up 2 tha 2 subs or if im gonna go with a two channel like a Rockford 8002...............If i was gonna get a mono amp which one would u peick outta the three:

Im still really open to any suggestions though

The problem is that he needs his power at 1 ohm or 4 ohms, the subs are dual 4's.
