Quick help with amp please.

Alright I'm working on my car right now. I have the power, ground and remote wire run to the amp, whenever I plug the rcas in the warning light comes on. I have no clue what the problem is... Please help

maybe your rca's are defective??? a short somewhere? is it the amp's protect light?

yes its the amp's protection light. The RCAs should be fine I had the same set up in my truck. I'm just putting it in my car. I have no clue what the deal is. I've gone over everything about 100 times.
