quick box question

The difference would be in the overall alignment of the system. A larger box gives less restoring force for the cone which means the cone is not as damped. That gives a smoother sound, less "punch" type sound. This will increase efficiency but it will also decrease mechanical power handling (meaning that with too much power, you could bottom out the driver easier than in the smaller box). The delay in the system will also increase around tuning as will output. The electrical impedance will also change as will the acoustic impedance but those won't effects won't be as audible or useful as the others.

and in dumbass terms??
He made it pretty simple... difference in same tuning but different box size is power handling, and dampening. the bigger the box, the less power it can handle, it can bottom out a little easier due to little dampening of the cone. but it will also sound smoother and not as punchy

Smaller boxes with same tuning can up the power handling, and have good dampening for the cone, which cant bottom out as easy with the same amount of power, and it will sound punchy/ boomy

spl boxes for single or double subs usually have a tiny *** box and external aeroports. thats for alot of power handling and loudness.
