i may buy another truck, this time from a legit dealership. its a black 2000 jeep cherokee limited

(cause it has leather seats and a sunroof). this is my 1st time buying a whip from a legit dealership in 10 yrs.......... what kinda questions should i ask??

How many miles does the car have on it?

Any serious/minor problems with it?

Did it have regular maintenance?

Did any accidents ever occur with the car, and how many previous owners did the vehicle have? Any rust?

Do the brakes work well, need repairing?

Are there any electrical problems/issues?

Do you have the title, registration, and the Vin number

I just bought an 2001 limited a year ago from a dealer. Check the ******, with any jeep/dodge/chrysler transmissions are suspect. The blend doors in the dash that control your climate control, make sure they work. If you cant feel air out of some of your vents, they're probably broke. Check the ****** seal, and rear end seal and up front. I got the whole cost to fix it knocked off the total because I found those. If you have a friend thats a mechanic have him run over it, he may pick out things ya dont see. Mine has had stupid little things pop up since I've got it but its pretty solid.

I hate jeep. but if you go jeep, get a wrangler. cherokee's have a ton of problems like stated above.

Check the oil and ****** fluid by hand. Take it through a car wash to make sure the windows dont leak. Check to make sure all power options are functional.

they didnt make a 2002 cherokee. grand cherokee , yes..........cherokee, no.

My sunroof drain tube was clogged so water was coming in down the a pillar into the floorboard. But that was a super easy fix
