Questions: Recones, Time of labor and getting parts

3 Weeks ago I went in to my area's best shop looking for the owner to get my juggernaut reconed. He said he had everything to do it with but a few parts he needed but he could get them in our area.. now a week after that he said the parts should be comming in that day, so I brought the basket and motor down to em and left it there.. He was SUPPOSED to have it done that sunday for the comp, which he didn't and now its been 2 more weeks and If he doesn't get it done by this weekend, ill miss out on another comp, and he keeps telling me the same thing, "the parts should be comming in today" Ive heard that about 10 different days now, and nothing... my question is... how long AFTER he gets the parts in does it take to do a recone? Iono, but Tim Roy has had my shit for almost a fucking month without telling me what's going on with my shit.

If the parts are coming together in a drop in kit then it can be done in one day. If the cone, coil and spider are not assembled them joining those with epoxy should be let to cure shimmed up a day. Them the kit can be gleud in the next day.

CA (even with accel for a through cure still needs to) or rubber glue and it needs to sit for a day. 15 minute epoxy and its good to go in an hour.

at sbn this year we rebuilt my dp12s & i ran it through the lanes within an hour. did a 155.9. if you use ca glue with the accelerator it will take him about 30min. to clean the basket, spider landing & completely rebuild it. if it is hot out it should take about an hour to cure.
