so im looking at getting a custom box done by fisher customs and have no idea what certain thing mean like double baffle, double standard baffle, flushed baffle standard. port type slot and aero can anyone enlighten me?

Notice the two pieces of MDF in the picture where the sub is mounted.

A double baffle will give the box more support. The box will be stronger.

The stronger the box is the better the bass is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Aflushed sub will look cleaner and helps with sound difraction ( a smoother transition of sound from cone to the air is is stimulating) another good thing.

Like they have said. A double baffle strengthens the mounting surface of the box. It also allows for the sub to be flush mounted into the the front panel of the box. If you have anymore questions, feel free to shoot me an email. Ill be more than happy to answer them for you.
