I noticed on the JBL 1200.1 it doesnt have one of those remote bass things where u can adjust like the "volume" of the amp or whatever. Like some MTX amps and Rockford amps have them. Well how would u change the "volume" on the JBL amp cause i mostly play rap but when i play rock im not gunna want all the bass. My HU has a thing on it like where you can adjust the bass and trebel and then theres one called Sub would that be where i could adjust it?? thanx for the help.

You must be referring to the sub-level control. They are more - less for fine tuning. The Sub level "gain" control that comes them amps generally just allow you to adjust the gains without having to go to the amp to do it.

if your hu has a sub control, so why not use that? thats what i do on my pioneer hu, i use my sub control to where i can adjust the input and the low pass crossover, and i can even turn it off. Im sure you have this on yours. hope this helps!!!!!

its hard to say exactly what his H.U. has... most ive seen lets you adjust X-over varibles but its not a Gain Level control... if that makes sense
