I just don't like the racist stuff that mods just let slide on here skin is very thin when it comes to that
lets be real here this site is a place of business why would u tolerate that in your place of business ?? Globalmindent is not just a screen name its my company global minds entertainment LLC if this was a GME site it would not be tolerated because what some random idiot says represents my business the reason y it bothered me is because mods don't seem to understand this
Why do you think the mods dont understand your point? First off, we dont make the rules, the site owner does. We simply enforce them, with *some* discretion of our own. Second, nothing you've said is mind blowingly advanced, so I fail to see why you think it escapes us.
That being said, the rules here are a series of compromises. You dont like seeing racist stuff. Understandable. Some racist comments are not allowed (the N word), as it was abused to the point of creating too much negative drama. But, some people would not like too many rules and restrictions. We, the site owner included, do our best to reach a happy medium. Will it please everyone? Obviously not. If you own a site that allows free speech to almost any degree, you should already understand that.
Lastly, this off topic section, the t-dome, is the one and only place that that type of behavior is allowed. It is not allowed in the tech sections, and certainly not allowed in the classifieds or vendor sections (with the vendors having their own amount of discretion to enforce). So the sections of the site you would consider where business is conducted, absolutely do not allow racist comments, harassment, etc. We try to leave the rules of the t-dome to a minimum to give our members one sole location to which they can come and speak more freely, burn off some steam if necessary, and yes even get into petty arguments over childish things if they want to. If you dont agree with that site layout, Im sorry, but I really have no other choice than to suggest that you can try to find another site that fits your likes/wants/needs better. We try to make this site as appealing, user friendly, functional and informative as possible, while also allowing for some 'fun'. Again we wont please everyone, we try to please as many as possible. If you are one of the people not pleased with ca.com, I wish you well in finding a site more suited to you (no sarcasm).
Cheers.
