Questions about some new equipment...any help is appreciated

Hi, i recently purchased subs and an amp for cheap and wanted to know how well they go together. They deals were pretty good so i couldnt pass them up, i picked up an American Bass CX1200D amp for $150, and two Orion XTR Pro 15" subs in a ported box for $200. How well does that amp work with those subs? From what I understand, the subs handle 500 RMS, 1000 max. I dont know much about the amp and there is very little info i could find online about it. What could I expect from this combination if they work together. Also, how good is a Rockford Fosgate Power T8004 4 channel amp? Sorry for so many questions. I am not new to this stuff, but i am not familiar with American Bass stuff
