Questions about my semi wall build in my Monte Carlo....

Well i have decided that i want to take the backseats out of my 05 monte carlo for a wall like build. i want to run a spl oriented setup, with decent sound quality. i was thinking down the lines of 2 15's or 2 18's. i don't want to go above my rear window line by any means. i am thinking 2 BTLs, 2 BLs, 2 HDC3s, 2 IA DPs, 2 Nightshades, 2 AB VFLs/HDs.......lol i don't know there so many options. power will be a AB 400.1 or 500.1 since i am local with American Bass. electrical not really a issue because it will be upgraded drastically. help me out with your opinions and recommendations.........thanx

Not sure how you can call an install that doesn't extend above the window lines a 'wall', but that's a pretty minor point I guess.

why don't you want to go above the window line? Your back seat area is gone, so go big or don't waste your time...

Im guessing to stay out of the pro or unlimited classes, or whatever they put you in when you extend above the window line. i want to stay below the window for vision purposes. i drive ALOT. and i want it to be daily, but have spl potential. just load

2 good side mirrors can do the trick, just gotta be careful of blind spots.

You could do 2 18's with the box extending into the trunk if necessary.

sawzall, grinder with a cut off wheel, or air nibbler will do the trick.

yes very true. because on the other hand i have doubts about losing the backseat. but i can fit anything in that small trunk

i saw one time in a civic where they built the box in the trunk, and had the subs on the panel where the back seats would be. looks awesome was ported with aero ports. if you could do something like that it be sweet!
