hi guys...i have a pair of the RFA-64 (i know...old school)...i was wondering if the they could be used as set of subs to enhance a stock system...

here are the specs...

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/library/1996/4_Speakers/LIT9658_AudiophileMids_MAN.pdf

i know they arent going to go low or loud...but i am sure they can give a stock system a little more pop...if some one could help me with a box and specs i would appreciate it...ported or seald...or info for both...

i had them in bazooka tubes and used them for years in my brothers truck with nothing more than deck power...they did okay...i got them back...cleaned them up and reglued the dust caps...and now want to find another application for them...

oh yeah....i have a few amps and power configs i can use...

i didnt see freq response in the specs...thats why i posted this thread...i am sure they are not going to go down to 20 HZ...but i just want to add some kick to a stock system....

if you are ever around the ontario are dude ill give u a ehqs for free u just gotta pick it up its an 8
i'll pick it up from you, you got it from Donpisto?

And to the OP, what kind of headunit do you have? If you have a headunit with an active xover then you can use a 4ch. amp and pair those mids with a nice set of tweets and you should have a bad *** active setup.

hahahah yeah i got it from levon i bought two but blew one up and still have the other pm me if u want it. all i ask is u put a pic ion my freaking avatar. i cant do it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif donno how. i have a pics of my tc3000 tc9 and ehqs thats nice

No reason why you can't try them in ported boxes to see how they do... but they really are just midbass drivers.

Going with .5 ft^3 per driver tuned to 45 Hz will be about optimum for them... but expect ouput and power handling to drop like a rock below 40 Hz.

resize the pix to the appropriate size, then upload it from your computer or photobucket

Go to usercp-->edit avatar--->use custom avatar-->upload the pix

it's so easy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
