Because I absolutely **** at building boxes, I went to my local place for them to build a ported box to hold my two Interfire IFB-15D's. They're 600RMS each and call for 2 cubic feet for each sub and if you go ported, the sheet says a 2" W and 8"H port for a SINGLE sub. The box they made has 4 cubic feet but only that 2" W and 8" H port. Why such a small port? When you have a spec for a single sub, wouldn't you double that when you have two subs? The results of the sub are excellent response in higher lows, but sloppy ( SLOPPY ) performance on lows.
I know it has to be the box because my girl friend has a similar enclosure for her two audiobahns ( I tried to pursuade her away ) but surprisingly they're louder!
Could the one small port be limiting the subs in my car? I'm just upset that such shitty speakers as the audiobahns could be hitting louder than my car. And she bought her audijunks for new online for 90 bucks for the pair :
