If i have 2 12 dual 2ohm Kicker L5's (600 wats a piece) can i give them 600 wats a piece on a KX1200.1 when wired down to 1ohm?

I believe your wiring options are .5ohm or 2ohm.

Your amp can do 1200w @ 1ohm but you don't have the option of wiring your subs to 1ohm.

2 dual 2ohm subs can be wired to .5ohm or 2ohm.

it does but you cannot wire 2 2ohm dvc subs to 1 ohm.

should i need to upgrade my bateries n all that stuff with this system?

i would install it first --- posibly do the big 3 wiring --and see what that gets you. if your lights aren't dimming then you should be okay. if they do then try upgrading the battery first---last resort is upgrading alternator.

does the quality of the sub to amp wire matter? What are some good wiring companys?

speaker wire doesn't matter all that much---i use 12 ga speaker wire from wal-mart.

^ Same. I use the cheap stuff from the supermarket and it seems to make little or no difference compared to people who spend $50+ on wiring.
