Seems like you guys scared the poor fellow off, so I'll give my honest opinion for him...

While there really aren't any bests, I do have personal preferences.

For subs: Resonant Engineering and SonicFX

For amps: Lunar Amplifiers and Arc Audio

Most of that is pretty high end though, so iono if you're interested in that at all.
