question

im gona be looking to run a 12 " audioque hdc3 but im not sure what type amp i need i know the sub is 1000 watts rms but who knows how close that is so ive been looking at amps that do 1000 watts but what ohm do i need them to do it at and how many channels do i need im assuming one since there will only be one sub any help is apprieciated
