Will this amp push the sub I'm about to get?

I'm car-audio challenged help me here.

Will this amp: KENWOOD KAC-8105D MONO CHANNEL 1000 WATT AMPLIFIER

Push this sub: Kicker 12" CVR; 10CVR122

And still have some free slack in wattage? I want the sub to be able to peak out without the amp being peaked, but I'm on a tight budget.

That amp would work but you want the dual 4 ohm sub not dual 2 ohm to get the most out of that amp.

FIMPALASS is right. A dual 2 ohm sub will give you 2 configurations. 1 ohm in parallel or 4 ohms in series.

Of course you could always get 2 smaller 2 ohm stable mono amps and put an amp on each voice coil.

Yeah you can get it cheaper else where, Try this site Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers or you can get a nice used one here for cheaper.

Or get a different amp, Kenwood amps ****. Every kenwood amp I or any of my friends has owned is now a pretty paperweight
