Question on Wiring Older HU

Pioneer HU-14 only has 1 preout, which is currently running to amp that drives sub. All other speakers are driven by powered outputs from HU.

If I put in an amp to drive the other speakers, should I split the preout and send one leg to amp sub and one leg to other speakers amp? If I did this, should I put in a line driver?

Or is there a better way?

well, i believe there is a 2 in 1 rca adapter you can get... check radio shack or a local shop... but the easiest solution for this is to buy a dual preout HU if you do indeed decide to get the amp..

no no no. get a crossover that only has one input, but has a full range/ hp output as well as a lp output.
