Fosgate BD amp problem!!

I just bought a new Fosgate 1001 BD amp and hooked it up and I'm hearing a thump every time I turn my deck on.

I had an old Fosgate 100x2 amp hooked up to my subs before this one and I never had a problem. Any ideas what it could be??

hmmm, usus u get that when u use the stock hu.

but in dat case, u could just use a diode and a cap in series i believe w the remote wire n the pop should go away.
