question on orion 1200d

i just got an orion 1200d amp. since it is a mono amplifier why does it have two different sets of + and -?

For your convenience of hooking up more than 1 speaker. This must be your first real mono amp huh? If you have the manual you may want to read it. They are internally joined. If you open the back place, you will see they are together.It just makes it easier for you to wire the subs, just like what he said...^

ok, so to wire an alpine type r at 2 ohms i would just hook up one + and - to one voice coil and hook up the other + and - to the other voice coil

thanks, i figuired thats how it went but i wasn't quite sure
