What Amplifier for Subs?

Hey al I'm new to the forum and need a bit of help here so bear with me. I'm getting 2 Kicker 10 inchers at 150 Watt RMS at 4 ohms each at a cheap price from a friend. Now I don't know how to power these things. I found a Kicker amp that does 150 Watt RMS at 4 ohms. So do I need 2 of these and bridge them? But i don't know how to bridge 2 mono amps. Also whould these need a power capacator? (O and I have to stick to all kicker to get a discount) Thanks!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Please do not try to "bridge" 2 mono amps unless you know what you are doing (and the amps are capable, those Kickers are not). If the subs are single voice coil, then look for an amp that will do roughly 300-500 @ 2 ohms (when both subs are wired, this is your final load). I would personally recomend giving yourself a little headroom and go closer to 500 or so, and then set your gains accordingly.

edit: Don't worry about the cap either. There are Kicker amps that will fit the bill if you need to stay with Kicker.
