Question on amping speakers

Hi! I have a 95 civic ex with the acoustic research package. A previous owner had replaced all the speakers with some random coaxials in the doors which sounded on the verge of blowing, and some pioneer coaxials in the rear deck which seem ok. I mounted some JBL components in the doors, and the tweeters mounted easily in the original tweeter pods. Speaker installation was a success.

I am currently running all four speakers off my kenwood KDC-105 HU which only has one set of pre-outs. I have a 4 channel amp off which I was hoping to run the speakers.

Now my question; my friend who is more well-versed in car audio and has been helping me along the way suggested I get a new HU with at least 2 sets of pre-outs. I was hoping I could just amp the components in the doors and run the existing rear speakers off deck power. He told me the rears would be drowned out. What do you guys suggest I do? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

Ok I bought the splitters, but I mean no point in amping anyway if I'm sacrificing SQ by using them, so I guess I'll return them tomorrow and get a new head unit.

So moving forward; does anyone have suggestions on a good HU? Not looking to spend much more than $100, but i will if its truly necessary. I just need AUX, possibly USB, and most importantly; at least 2, preferably 3 sets of pre outs.

Finally; I'm running a pair of pioneer TS-G1643Rs in the back deck. They've been on the car since I bought it, but seem like they sound ok. However my buddy mentioned I should go ahead and upgrade since I'm buying a new HU. What do you guys think of this? Will it really be worth it? If I do upgrade I'm not going to run another pair of components, probably just a couple of alpine spr coaxials at best.

if you want it to sound good, don't be cheap
you will get what you pay for.
Thanks for the ambiguous answer.

I'm not an audio snob, and I'm not looking to spend $700 on a set of components, $500 on an amp and $300 on a deck to outfit a $4000 car.

I'm a college kid on a budget, I know that I won't have a world class sound setup, I'm just trying to make my car sound decent. So as I stated before; I'm hoping to keep the deck around $100 but I'm willing to spend a little more if necessary (see my previous post)

Thanks cfox for the sound deadening suggestion; thats next on my list after i get this deck issue figured out.

Does anyone else have helpful feedback? Thanks

EQS746 Clarion EQ 7 Band Equalizer Aux 7 Volt Sub Subwoofer Speakers Pre Amp | eBay i would get this for a temporary fix and it would work fine in giving you all the RCA slots you need for a sub amp, and 4 channel amp from your two connectors plus you have the luxury of equalizing your sound, with a sub and volume knob along with it. Most 100 dollar head units are trash junk when it comes to sound quality and actual preamp output. If you bump it up to 150$, there's a nice one you can get. Head units are the core source components, if you cheap out on it meaning under 150, your gonna get cheap sound there's no avoiding it.
