first off hey to everyone i been doing a lot of reading and **** you guys seem to really know your stuff. please forgive me if ask any dumb questions but i really want to do my system right the first time. My car is a 1985 buick regal. and here's what's going in, mb qsd 216's going in the kicks. powered by a jl 300/1. jl amp wiring kit and rca's. kick panels from q logic. I live in an apartment and have no place to even try to make panels. I would definitely like to get your opinions on this. so on to the questions
1 I started to put some modeling clay on the inside of the kicks but don't really know how much to put and if i should put something over that?
2 should i just put the speakers on the panel or put something in between to seal the sound?
3 I was thinking of mounting the crossovers in the trunk is that a good idea? I know some people have mounted them in the door panels but they get water in there.
