Good Clearity 6x9's (Any recommendations)

I was listening to some head phones a friend of mine had with some albums he and I owned, and the clearity was clean as hell. I told him, I dont even have this type of sh*t in my car. So I decided to install some new 6x9's. Im looking for a pair with great clearity, bass is not a factor right now. So anybody have any recommendations? I open to anything.
