Question for the lifters

they all around the same. don't get soy protein cause soy helps to contribute to increase estrogen levels in men (breast tissue and prostate cancer). search for the baste tasting whey protein which is optimum nutrition.

i no there all the same... But what i was tryin to find out was what brand gives you the most protein per serving, and the most servings per tub

i was on cell-tech worked really well kinda nasty though

Cell tech/nitro tech to me is a overpriced protein + pre/post workout.. I can get 5 lb. tubs of eas for about $20 bux and Gaspari Nutrition pre wk out for 1/2 of what you could buy in GNC .. Especially muscle tech and xyience

There are various types of proteins out there such as: whey, casein, soy, and egg. They serve different purposes, but for your case I'm assuming you're talking something along the lines of whey which is absorbed quickly - ideal for post-workout shakes. I've tried many kinds of whey protein shakes and I've found Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard to offer the most bang-for-the-buck. Don't simply buy a protein powder because it has more protein/serving...you'll quickly find that mixability and flavor play a huge role in the overall quality of the shake; not only that, but some shakes will contain ingredients that aid in digestion and absorption of the protein. Syntrax Matrix 5.0 is also a very good bang-for-the-buck whey/casein protein, ideal for breakfast and post-workout. Shoot me a PM and let me know how your diet is and what your goals are - a solid diet is key to success.

Yea its whey protein, I use GNC nitro explosion for pre and post wk out and The whey 6 times a day and an hour after a work out.. Alone with TRIBEX ..

If you're not combining that post-workout whey with some type of simple carb., I'd highly recommend it. Consuming whey before bed is something of a waste - that's where a protein like casein is ideal. I always eat peanut butter and cottage cheese before bed, it's an ideal anti-catabolic combo.
