i get 13.8 to 13.9 this is not normal right?

that is normal. Especially if it is a hot day. The hotter the alternator gets the less it'll be able to output which equals lower voltage. As long as it stays above 13.6 I'd say you're fine.

13.8-14.5v is the norm.Just depends on the vehicle.Your good though.
