Question about using two aeros and port length

I just have one quick question about port length... * I am building a ported box for a single 12 it's 2.4 cubic feet at 35 hz using two 4 in aero ports now every port calculator I use says the port length should be 20.11 inches long with 2.4 cubic feet and two 4 inch aeros. My question is does that mean each aero port is 20" long ?or each is 10" long for a combine port length of 20"?*

Length is per port. I personally use the CarStereo.com - Car Stereo is the #1 Car Audio Online Resource calculators, click on the "how to guide" tab, then the "loudspeaker design and construction" link, and you'll see box volume calc as well as port calc. Very easy to use.

where it says "flare length port required", do you measure from flare to flare or what?

That is the total length with the flares on. The straight tube should be cut to 6" less than that to come out right.

alright cool thank you I was almost positive each was 20" long.
