question about RCA's

one of the RCA inputs broke off inside my amp so i only have one running right now. it still works but is this bad for the sub or amp? i'm worried about that so i've been keeping the sub off

Just keep the sub/amp off until you remove the broken rca and replace it....

it shouldnt hurt either of them, class d amps can usually run in mono any way. Just replace the cable when you can. The broken connector shouldnt make a difference with the signal being sent to the amp.

Won't hurt anything but you might get static or intermittent operation if the RCA grounds out inside. If it's a mono amp you don't need both inputs.

good news guys when the RCA's decided to snap off they blew the pre out on my deck so i'm pretty pumped about that
