it shouldnt hurt either of them, class d amps can usually run in mono any way. Just replace the cable when you can. The broken connector shouldnt make a difference with the signal being sent to the amp.

 
Won't hurt anything but you might get static or intermittent operation if the RCA grounds out inside. If it's a mono amp you don't need both inputs.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?
