ShaunMac 10+ year member Thank You Come Again! 581 0 GEORGIA Mar 20, 2003 #4 I had an amp that made a bump sound when I turned it off. Then I got a new PPI amp that had a muting feature that got rid of the bump turn off/on sound. So yes it is a normal sound with some amps. Nothing to worry about.
