My amp is stable at 4 ohms, how do I get it there? According to the box the RMS would be a perfect match for what the RMS is alleged to be from these suspect subs.this is the answer OP. running two 2 ohm SVC speakers in parallel results in a final load of 2 ohms. two 2 ohm SVC speakers in series results in a final ohm of 4 ohms (you need to wire them for 2 or 4 ohms, with your set up you can only wire them for 1 or 4 ohms).
you generally can't run a 1 ohm load on a 2 ohm stable amplifier
Edit: Ok, upon further review, I see that to be where I need to be, I need to run positive to the left, negative to the right, and a wire connecting the unused + and - terminals to each other? I get this info from Amazon's sub installation guide lol
